Be a SpinOff Studio Artist!

SpinOff Studio was created as a satellite program in Hallowell. SpinOff Studio is literally a “spin off” its sister program Spindleworks in Brunswick, Maine. SpinOff Studio is a nonprofit art center for adults with disabilities and a program of Independence Association. Independence Association’s Mission is to help children and adults with disabilities achieve full and inclusive lives in their chosen community. Expanding on the Spindleworks community of artists SpinOff Studio looks include individuals from the Kennebec Valley, greater Augusta area and beyond. Artists attending the program receive supplies, studio space, and guidance as needed. Their work will be exhibited in SpinOff store front and amongst a larger community of artists in public space. The artists receive 75% of the sale price of their work, with 25% returning to the program to purchase supplies. SpinOff Studio is located on Water St. in downtown Hallowell. SpinOff is across the street from Slates Bakery and with walking distance to the Harlow Gallery, Hubbard Free Library, and many other local venues.
